The Government Technology and Artificial Intelligence Lab

The goal of the lab is to bring together research teams from the school under one larger center so that Estonia’s leading experts on AI, machine learning, data science, IT architecture, and other related fields can be easily accessible. Custom made teams of experts from the GovAiLab can be assembled on a project basis to help analyze, solve, and prototype issues for public sector organizations. The GovAiLab also aims to give students, who are future public sector employees, the ability to gain real world experience by working with our team on our projects.

As organizations continue to work with more and more data, new questions about existing IT architecture are brought up. There is a need for better understanding of an organization’s current information system architectures and technical solutions as well as the future vision that is able to incorporate new disruptive technologies into the day-to-day business processes.
