eGoverntech visited Japan

Last week, Ingrid Pappel and Engel-Mari Mölder were representing our research group in Japan and visiting Tohoku University, who has been our good cooperation partner for years. This visit was a significant milestone in fostering international collaboration and sharing knowledge on digital governance in Japan. 🇪🇪 🇯🇵 🤝

Tohoku University arranged a successful symposium where Prof. Ingrid Pappel was invited to discuss Estonia’s successful e-governance model. The visit also entailed a guest lecture on paperless management at Sendai City Hall.
In addition to those significant visit milestones, different meetings on AI and future technologies were held with the university’s project teams. Knowledge about TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology study opportunities were also introduced to enhance the student exchange between two universities. 💡

We look forward to continuing this fruitful partnership, driving forward the agenda of digital transformation and effective e-governance by educating the future digital leaders! 🤩
